Xmas Wreath

 Another task for Christmas to complete is the wreath for the front door, its the only time of the year i pretend that im a florist, i really don't know how to arrange flowers and have never looked up how to its just good fun bringing together bits and bobs from the garden or from the hedgerows to make the wreath each year.

I use a foam florist ring that is pre soaked on water then add loral and different coloured fir branches around the ring then i hang it on my door to work out how i want to build up the layers.

Next a splash of colour from some red ribbon and holly with lots of red berries, Granny had spotted this for us on the lane that she lives on and it goes well on the wreath.

Next to add some Christmas baubles and jingling bells to tinkle as the door is opened and shut.

Finally some lovely white seed heads from a clematis we have in the garden, although they don't look very white in the photo they are in real life.  the porch way smells lovely with all that fir and its lovely hearing the jingling bells when the door opens.
