Lakeland Steam Mop Review

I have been wanted to try this product for a long time and so i am very thrilled to be given the opportunity to test it out.
The Steam mop retailing at £59.99 and available Exclusively from Lakeland is now revolutionsing cleaning the floors in my house. Most of our house has tiles (kitchen and bathroom) hardwood floors downstairs and laminate flooring upstairs in Sophie's room making reviewing this fab steam mop a good test as we have all floor types this mop can deal with.

Flower crafts Baker Ross Review

Winter seems to be shrugging off and spring is creeping in the garden with sunshine bringing out the peeping flowers spreading some cheer.  Our friends at Baker Ross have sent us some flower kits to help cheer up our playroom and what fun they were to craft together.

Feather crown

A while ago we made Sophie some pretty feather cuffs (hit the link to see how we made them).  She loves to wear them to put on little dancing shows for me, so we decided as it was half term and we both loved her shows so much she definitely needed a pretty feather crown to go with the cuffs.  We found a good selection of feathers from our local Hobby craft store and some foam bunny ears head dress for £1 which i Cruelly chopped the ears off before Sophie and I got sticking making the carnival style crown.  Doesn't she look fab!, this was a good simple craft for a 3 year old and we had a lot of fun sticking and designing her crown and a good activity for half term.

Beer Soap

One more mix from my soap kitchen this is a big block of beer soap i have made for Tring Brewery which i made from their Moongazer beer and dark and fragrant beer.  I also spent a few weeks infusing the olive oil in their very own hops making all of the mix smell amazing.

Also on the same day we were larking around with some melt and pour after Ali made me my own latex robot mold and we made this fun lime fragranced green character plus a starfish embedded bar which was a mish mash of cherry and tangerine fragrances from all the left over scraps of soap.

Nesting feelings

Week 24 is looming and there are 15 weeks to go and the nesting bug is starting to hit me maybe because finally after 22 weeks the sickness has finally left me, thank goodness, or that baby is moving and kicking about like there is a party in my tummy.  It really helps that i have an excited little lady that is eager to help in anyway she can get ready for the new addition to the family.

Anisha's adventures in Bangladesh Review

We have been very fortunate to have been sent a delightful book from  My little big town publishing Anisha's adventures in Bangladesh, Retailing at £7.99.

Anisha's adventures in Bangladesh, A lovely story idea of a little girl called Anisha who has a birthday and her grandparents (Dadda and Dadde) ask her what she would like as a gift and grant her wishes by gifting her with two magical pendents.

Pregnancy update Week 20 Scan

It is so exciting when you get to go to hospital and have your baby scans, it seems an age away since we saw  baby at week 12 and she has grown so much and her face features are so pronounced i cant wait to see what she will look like in the flesh.  I am so lucky having a few hic cups with the pregnancy so far i get an extra eye over me and so extra scans at week 26, 31 35 which is a wonderful silver lining to see baby grow  until the wonderful day we get to meet her. Although i certainly know that she is in there as i seem to have a baby kung fu fighter in my tummy.

My Online shop

I am feeling very happy to be able to open my own online shop today Bath Food Online store and although small, it is a start and a good way to keep my hand in on my little business while pregnant, as i have no plans to be lugging heavy boxes of soap around the county.  Sales are to the UK only as i am just beginning and i hope to bring out new lines as and when i have any energy from the bump.  I even have a special offer to my first 20 purchases, check out my facebook page to find out more.  Bath Food facebook page
