Winter seems to be shrugging off and spring is creeping in the garden with sunshine bringing out the peeping flowers spreading some cheer. Our friends at Baker Ross have sent us some flower kits to help cheer up our playroom and what fun they were to craft together.
The first kit was a Flower tissue paper craft £2.97 for 3 giant flowers with everything you will need to get busy, my advice with this project is put a good movie on and get a cup of tea as the job allocated to me the mummy was screwing up all the tissue paper and this took me a good hour to do while i watched my creative little monkey stick all tissue paper to the self adhesive backing flowers, Cheeky thing! Sophie loved this project it was simple and easy to do and she really loved making her flowers come to life with lots of colour.
Our second flower kit was Bunch of roses £2.95 for 3 sets of roses with 4 flowers in each kit. Sophie is 3 so she found the rolling a bit tricky but mummy was under instruction to do this bit while she threaded all the petals and flower bases together. Soon we had a lovely big vase of pretty red and pink roses and these were put into the playroom along with her tissue paper flowers to help make the feeling spring from the garden come inside and brighten up her room.
