Was the night before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were  hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.
The children nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of sugar plums danced in their heads.

Sophie has got the idea of Father Christmas and this year the magic of Christmas has begun for us all.  She has been very good  girl and eaten her dinner and with out a fuss, she cleaned her teeth and put on her pyjamas all as quickly as she could.  With mummy's help hung up her stocking over the fire place. Daddy helped her find a mince pie and a drink for Santa a carrot and water was gathered for the reindeer, which she placed out under her stocking on the mantle.

We have been tracking Santa on NORAD to make sure he was coming our way and she has watched from the window as daddy let off some small rockets into the sky to show Santa where Sophie lives. Finally she snuggled down into her bed and has not made a peep and has drifted off to sleep very happy and excited about the visit from Santa and the big Christmas day.

Memories are made of days like this, Merry Christmas.
