Wow gift bags and boxes can be so expensive in the shops, sometime more so than the gift inside, so thrifty hat on i got Sophie busy creating personalised art gift bags, to hold some Xmas gifts.
Fist off Sophie drew her arty drawings with lots of colourful pens, then stuck a few of her favourite stickers on the bags.
Lastly mummy helped dribbled thin lines of pva glue over the bags ready for Sophie to add some Christmas sparkle with lots of different coloured glitter which was added in patches around the bag. We had an incident of half a tube of green glitter exploding all over the kitchen as little miss was excited about the shiny sprinkles, and i have been finding it for days even though i thought i had cleaned it all up. Personalised art gift bags were fun and look great and so much cheaper than the shops.
