Sophie's first sports day

Sophie got her first experience of winning and loosing taking part today as the school sports day had finally come, after being postponed 2 or 3 times due to bad weather (cold and rain) can you believe it how quickly we forget that a few weeks ago we were shivering and waiting for this glorious sun.

Sophie and daddy do racing all the time up and down the garden, and daddy doesn't let Sophie win all the time so she knows what it feels like to loose be the second winner.  I think i might have to enroll her into drama as when she does loose comes second she falls on the floor and screws up her face as fake tears imaginatively fall from her eyes and the sound of bitter wailing can be heard up and down the neighborhood gardens, ar well she will learn.

As it was at she did really well on her big day she came joint 1st with 2 other boys in the first race where they had to pick up a bucket and then a spade as they ran up the track.  In the second race she came 2nd unfortunately we have no pictures of the race as daddy was using his phone and it was to slow in capturing the races.

Medal ceremony and all the children got a medal and you couldn't see a prouder face than Sophie as she showed off her gold spray painted pasta medal. What a little champ she is.
