Summer holidays, hot weather and snow balls ..... WHHHAAT!! yes that's right the garden was transformed into a winter wonderland as we brought out tubs of frozen shaving foam for the kids to play with. They were really amused as to how and why we had managed to bring them snow on such a hot day, but soon the snow balls were flying up and down the garden and there was much chasing and squeeling as Sophie and Reilly ran away and also chased Reilly's big brother Mackay.
As the shaving foam melted it turned into a nice slippery mess and i had put the big plastic sheet down so the kids go crazy and slide around. A few cans of foam were saved for a big squirty foam can fight 2 against 1 as Mackay was a brilliant big brother and let the little ones splat, squish and shoot him with foam, so much he looked like the abominable snowman by the time to two little monkeys had finished with him.
We love messy play but this messy play is even better to get clean with as the hose was turned on and hey presto clean kids that smell great.

DeleteWhat a fantastic outdoor activity! They looked like they had such a fun time being creative with the foam. There isn't many messy activities that are that easy to clean up - thanks for linking up and sharing your great ideas with Country Kids.
