Butterfly world gardens

Not only does Butterfly world have a great Tropical hot house full of butterflies but it has 20 acres of wild flower meadows and gardens that attracted lots of butterflies and the plants were covered in mystical white webs full of wriggling caterpillars, Sophie was a wonder at the writhing webs.

There were 12 gardens done by well known designers covering all sorts of subject from dinosaurs to enchanted, with lots of great sculptures and structures.
There was also lots of lovely planting with plants that attract wildlife and especially bees and butterflies. We were both really taken by the bright blue of the Ceanothus and we may be hunting one out for our garden.

The planting was amazing from delicate small flowers to huge leafed plants that looked like they came from the Jurassic period.

There were lots of tunnels and twists and turns to follow and each turn you could see something new and interesting.

Not only were there the twist and turns but you could be forgiven to thinking you had popped down Alice in Wonderlands as suddenly everything got really really BIG!

We spent hours and hours at Butterfly world and it well worth the £7 we paid and we would definitely go back again.

Dis-closer this is not a paid or sponsored post just a place we visited and really liked and thought was great value for money.
