Face painting

Sophie has been well and truly  hooked into face painting after our visit to a skilled lady at an event we went to recently.  The lady had an art degree and it totally shows by the lovely butterfly she painted on Sophie face.

i saw that Argos was selling there own brand of face painting kit with a brush and 2 sponges for £10 which i thought was great as i had previously looked at the snazaroo paints which were £4 a colour which i thought was a bit steep, but i might try a colour to see how sits on Sophie face as i found the Argos paint looked a bit dry and patchy.

We got home and tried the paints out and i did a butterfly on Sophie's face and as you can see i don't have an art degree, and its a not a great butterfly but then the brush was pretty awful stiff, stubbly and didn't really apply the paint to well.   Sophie was happy and spent the morning fluttering round the house.
The next day Sophie wanted to be a tiger So i had to get my head round trying to make her look fierce, i used some of my make up brushed but again they were a bit to fat.  Here is Sophie Roaring round on all fours.  Now i need to find an easy animal to do for another day and wondered if anyone knew of a new animal to try.

    1. Funny isnt it i think it must be the time when pretend is making an appearence in their development and so by looking like something means they are. I think i need to look on you tube to learn how to do some more faces
