Mammasaurus has started a new linky how does your garden grow. With the long winter and never ending cold it is lovely to see so many bright blooming plants promising bursts of spring and summer. So here here is our garden in bloom so far although i think the weeds are making a tactical effort to take over. However Daddy and the veg patch are winning the war with promises of delicious treats for the year.
WOW! Your garden is lovely. Ferns are so pretty as they uncurl :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Steph xx
ReplyDeleteI love curled up ferns, they almost look like they belong under the sea. Your blossom looks lovely, really liking the pinky colours!
ReplyDeleteThe weeds have gone mad here too - I don't think this wet weather is going to help much either - it's like dandelion central on out lawn!
Thank you for joining in - these happy photos are really cheering me up today!
thank you Mammasaurus x
ReplyDeleteI am very jealous of your beautiful veg patch, mine is covered in weeds and I haven't got to it this year, not sure I will either. The fern pictures are lovely too. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe veg patch is all down to my hubby this year, being pregnant its to much for me so he has a firm control over it and he is doing really well i cant wait to taste the results thank you for the visit x
DeleteLooks great!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much :)
DeleteI love your lilac, mine suffered a bit over winter, so might not get much bloom this year. Isn't it lovely to see the colour return though :)
ReplyDeleteIt has been so cold im surprised lots more hasnt suffered, i feel confident that this summer might be warmer than last year with less rain.。 。 。 fingers crossed
DeleteI want to join in this Linky too. Yesterday we had gale force winds (not the best element to photograph pretty flowers) today it is grey and miserable plus all the petals are now on the floor!
ReplyDeleteHowever you have taken some exceptional shots, a beautiful garden
Thank yo Maria lets hope this weather gets better although the weekend looks like we are going to be treated to more rain
ReplyDeleteYour garden is so colourful! I think I have the same plant as you in picture 2 - any idea what it is?
ReplyDeleteno i dont know what that is would love to know its really pretty and comes up every year. Thanks Mary xxx
DeleteLovely garden, ours is in the middle of being re-landscaped by the otherhalf so it is a long slow process. Will be lovely when its done and lots of fresh veg for the kids to help plant and harvest. Hoping to get some chickens too.
ReplyDeletethank you for coming by my blog your garden sounds like an exciting project. Chickens sounds like a nice idea too.
