We had a wonderful holiday where we visited Thailand there
was a longest flight with stop overs at Singapore. On such a long journey we got to know some of
our fellow travelers and chatted which was great for passing the many hours
stuck trapped on an aeroplane.
When you board a aeroplane you put your trust into the
airline company looking after all your luggage.
Most people when they go on holiday buy lots of lovely new outfits and
shoes and spend a fortune on products for sun care and skincare.
So when one of our fellow passengers we had made friends
with on the flight and who was staying in the
same resort as us discovered that at the end of this epic journey that
their luggage had been lost we were all to happy to lend a hand. We could imagine how terrible it could have
been to travel all the way to the other side of the earth and have absolutely
nothing but the now grimy clothes you
have been travelling in.
As most people we had slightly over packed anyway so sharing
out the extra t shirts, shorts and skincare products was not a problem for us,
and our fellow travelers were very grateful .
Like most people travelling on holiday insurance was a savior to our
new friends who made contact with Allianz Global Assistance and with in a few days they had received
funding to go out and get those all important replacements and start enjoying
their holiday.
