Ladies that lunch Oct

Oh loving being a mummy especial on days like this when your mummy friends all bring a dish of delicious home made food and you all share and have a good old gas about anything and everything.  Even though a few mummies could make it due to the dreaded lurgi making the rounds we had a ball and felt like balls after to from all that lovely grub, no tea tonight.

What a feast was on offer Ham, cheese and tomato tart, Goats cheese pin wheels, Chicken Satay, Lemon drizzle cake and damson-batter-buns were all home made treats made lovingly by the girls.

All the kiddies were happy to see each other again and had loads of fun playing games and rooting through Sophie's toys. Above Sophia had a great time searching out all of Sophie's night garden toys and cars.
Sophie loved the goats cheese pin wheels Adele made and called them cheesy snails as they were a spiral shape, clever little thing.
Joe and Sophie had lots of fun playing funny games with each other and Joe's big grin was defiantly a winner with the girls.

Katie the oldest at 3 was in charge of all the little ones and had no quarms telling them not to be naughty and gave everyone a concert on Sophie recorder, what a musical girl.  It is amazing to see the size difference between Katie and Sophie with only a year between them Sophie should be hitting a massive growth spurt soon turning from the little girl she is into the little lady Katie is.
Overall the Ladies lunch was a great success and every one left for home in the late afternoon with happy faces and very happy tummies.
