Autumn crown
After our visit to Astridge-forest i had collected lots of different types of leaves for Sophie so we could make an Autumn crown, no it is not a compost on her head ...
The only problem was we didn't find any red leaves out on our walk so Sophie grabbed her basket and we went into the garden to see what we could find to add to what we had already.
We have an Acer in the garden with red leaves so that was perfect, we also found so Ivy and some fluffy seed heads.
We set up in the kitchen and laid out our leafy loot and mummy made a card round crown ready for Sophie to get sticking on.
This was a very sticky messy fun activity, we had to use pegs to hold down the leaves to the glue, it took a while to dry but we had fun looking at all the different types of leaves and the pretty colours. Sophie was proud of her crown and couldn't wait to wear it
