Mystery vanishing plants and seeds

We have a mystery in our garden at the moment and i wonder if any of you have had a similar thing happen. Our plants are disappearing from the garden at first i thought i was going mad as my second batch of peas and beans compleatly vanished, so i sowed more this time directly into the ground rather than into pots and after a few weeks nothing had appeared so i dug around and there was no evidence that i had planted any seeds so now a batch of plants and seeds have vanished for all my peas and beans. Last weekend i got to plant out my rather healthy looking courgette and broad bean plants they were bushey and green and i was really proud they have done so well. Today i went out and noticed that they had vanished roots and everything and there is no clue as to where they have gone. Even Sophie's sunflower plants that were 10 inches long have gone as well and we are hosting the sunflower challenge this year i dont know what we are going to do now with no flower or vegetable plants and no clue as to where they have all gone to?

  1. Just admit your sunflowers haven't grown and this is an elaborate excuse ;) haha maybe you just have some resident hungry rabbits? x

We have planted more seeds but are feeling a bit down about it as its so late in the season.
