After pulling together all our bits on the table to see what we had, mummy draw a nice fat sausage shape on on a piece of card and Sophie got busy draw creative shapes on the body.
Sophie decided that the caterpillar would look rather good covered in flower stickers and fluffy pom poms and of course the obligatory glitter, then the all important googly eyes so Mr caterpillar could see where he was going. Finally mummy cut out the caterpillar, made folded the centre of the body to give a zig zag movement and stuck 2 straws either end for Sophie to hold and give mummy a puppet show with. Well done Sophie.
