It seems that Sophie's School teacher is a lady with a mission, prepared to go above and beyond and push herself all in the aid of the Breast cancer charity, and why wouldn't you be touched emotionally especially after loosing three colleagues to breast cancer. She was spurred on 6 years ago to start fund raising by walking four 20 mile Ribbon Walks from Blenheim Palace. Last September she decided to ‘up her game’ to try the 100km Thames Path Challenge from Putney Bridge to Henley. She finished in 25½ hours.
Although this will be an adventure of a lifetime this challenge is not for the faint-hearted! With a super teacher such as Mrs Smith we know she has it in her to complete this challenging feat with success and determination and she has already undertaken months and walking training to get ready for the many miles ahead of her and years of experience of controlling a rabble noisy bunch into a slick team.
Can you help????
Mrs Smith would love to raise £5000 but as much as possible for Breast Cancer Care.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. About 48,000 women get breast cancer in Britain each year. Most (eight out of 10) are over 50, but younger women, and in rare cases, men, can also get breast cancer.(Link NHS)
Breast Cancer Care relies on the generosity of people like you

Take one small minute and make a BIG difference
Do you have some spare change to help change someones life
That sounds like a fabulous trip and not just because it's for such a good cause. Good luck to Mrs Smith - I hope she has a wonderful time and raises plenty of money for such vital research x
