How does your garden grow week 2

Miniature flowers peeping out
Miniature buds waiting to burst open exquisite explosions of colour to chase away winter
Fat miniature seed pods waiting for the sun to warm the soil to drop their new life
Wrapped up petals hiding from the cold

Windfall pears rotting in the ground feeding nutrients to next years buds
Tiny drops of water turned to frost melting slowly in the morning sun

  1. Stunning shots. I love the miniature flowers peeping out, though I confess I had to look twice at the pear, as I thought it was a snail initially!

  2. Ahh buds and greenery - so good to see. The only buds here at the moment in my homestead are on indoors plants. Just wait till I get my mitts on a hyacinth - then I'll know Spring is here! I too thought the pear was a snail at first.

Lovely photos - especially that last one - just brill! Thanks for joining in in again an sharing - lovely to have you x

  3. I had to do the same to the pear, and without your explanation it was a pear I think I might've stared longer trying to figure it out! It is such an interesting photo! The others are just gorgeous, and I wish we had as many buds right now.
