Dairyland and misty Mawgan Porth

Our adventures continue with a trip to Dairyland  by the sounds of it, it did not sound too promising but we were pleasently surprised as it was a great place to take a little one for the day there was so much to do.

Not only did we get to be up close and personnel with lots of farm animals, there were specail petting sessions with some cute and cuddly pets as well as pony rides, Sophie chose the small shetland pony to ride on as she wasnt sure as this was her first horse ride, but she had her eye on a big black pony for the bigger children and after her sedate little shetland trott she was demanding an upgrade to the BIG HORSEY.

There was so much to do at dairyland there was a massive indoor activity area as well as death slides, trampolines, swings, motorised racing cars outside.  We also spent a good amount of time wandering around inside a corn maze and looking around a museum too it was good value for money and used a large amount of the day.
As we had missed lunch due to forgetting as we had so much fun at Dairyland we decided to have a traditional cream tea, a fresh baked scone, clotted cream and jam all washed down with pots of hot tea.  On the way back to the tent we hit rush hour on the roads and we were amused by what rush hour means in this part of the world as the dairy farmers clugged up the roads with a herd of cows getting them to the milking sheds it was just wonderful and funny.
The next morning we headed out to our favourite beach again at Mawgan Porth but the Sea mist had rolled on and even though it was a warm day the mist made the beach not only very beautiful but eary at the same time as the mist swirled around us moving around the beach at one point it was difficult to see each other.  The mist stayed on the beach for some hours and we didn't let it stop our fun as daddy got his kite out and scared the local grannies by swooshing it over there heads like some pterodactyl out of the prehistoric mists
Even the surfers had trouble and were not allowed to surf for hours as the lifeguards could not see them, all came good as the sun shined and the day got warmer and the mist burnt away and we build and decorated a sand hump fort and lazed in the sun.  When the holiday was over madam was not to pleased, i think she got her message across and i have to admit we all felt the same way..
