Cornish camping and Lappa valley

Well our love affair with Cornwall continued with another camping trip to riviera of England, this time we went to the west coast to a place called Trewan the beautiful farmland and country side surrounded by stunning coast lines and winding lush roads where you wonder what's just round the corner.

We took our most prized and loved bell tent which was our home for the week and the camp site was perfect as we were one week out of season so it was pretty much empty we suited us just fine and gave Sophie lots of space to run around.

The Site in season puts on lots of different entertainment and has a pool but we didn't mind missing as either sitting in our Zen like tent or sitting outside under the event shelter drinking port and looking at the stars and listening to the hooty owls was more our thing.
One of our first excursions was to the Lappa valley railway where at the Station was a bright red Steam train and who was the driver no less than Sophie.  We got a nice long ride up the valley where there were two other trains awaiting for us to ride a blue diesel engine called Eric and modern electric train that went really fast and was Sophie's favourite as well as many other things to do like a brick maze, a massive wooden fort a long tubed slide which Sophie surprised me and went down, tractors to ride, crazy gold and canoe to paddle in it was a really great day and gave Sophie well in fact all of us the train thrills we loved.
