National Trust Stowe

Just loving when the sun comes out we bundle out of the house and head for the nearest place of interest and today we went to Stowe in the hope to hunt out some spring blooms but after walking around the park could not find any not one daff ! not to worry we found these geese that were a lot of fun and we also spotted a giant carp leap out of the lake that was amazing.
Sophie has a bit of a stick fetish and got the ultimate dream at a pile of massive logs to clamber over although she is not taking any of these home !!!  After Log clambering there was a spot of tree climbing although she couldn't get up very far but was happy to take in the view from where she got to.
We had lots of fun and daddy even got to fly his kite with the help of Sophie who has been wanting to fly daddies kite for a long time,  While daddy and Sophie were busy Ella explored the surrounding area and found lots of cut discs of tree which the girls have fun traveling up and down hopping from one to the other

The weather was just glorious and we really enjoyed our day out, it was just nice to be in some open space to lark around after all that gloomy rain and cold weather over the winter long may this blue sky stay with us. i am sure we will be heading out to Stowe again soon

  4. Hooray for sunshine and family days out having fun and exploring together! Children are content to explore nature's playground and make use of it's resources for some imaginative play. Thanks for linking up and sharing your lovely photos with Country Kids.
