Olympic torch comes to Aylesbury

 The Olympic torch is making its journey with only a few weeks until the start of the games and today its journey is taking it through Aylesbury.

 So with Sophie on the bake of my bike Flag in hand to wave and cheer we set off and found one of the running routes to see the famous flame that has made its epic journey from Greece.

 The Police were on scene with flashing lights and sirens blearing warning people that the flame was soon coming by while a helicopter circled over head.

 The tour bus drove by first with all the selected local hero's that would be the torch bearers.

 Followed by our Olympic mascot and a mini parade of the Olympic sponsors in their trucks

 

 

 Then finally the moment the flame carried up high for all to see by Aylesbury's torch bearer surrounded by support runners, and this is probably a once in a life time opportunity that myself and Sophie would ever witness some thing like this and it was pretty amazing to see if fleeting.
