Touch magic Rockin Guitar Leap Frog Review

We are rocking out in our house with this fun Touch magic Rockin Guitar from Leap Frog suitable for 3 years plus.  Sophie couldn't wait to get this out of its box and start playing with it.  This bright red light weight guitar with strap is just the ticket to add some music creativity and fun to an eager little mind wanting to explore her musicality.

There are 10 fab songs to mosh your head to and the rock music is very reminiscent of 60 rock that you can almost imagine Cliff Richard and his summer holiday crew in the room with you bopping and swinging away.  The voice that sings is a British ladies and thankfully is not one of those voices that annoys you after 5 songs, if fact you find it really hard not to join in and sing along.  Sophie and i have been singing the STRUM STRUM STRUM song all day.  There are many children friendly songs such as the ABC song, Pop goes the weasel, Itsy Bitsy Spider and of course Rocking robin there are many other tunes to explore.

The Touch magic Rockin Guitar has a number of fun buttons over the front to play with as you sing along with the music.  There is an all important slide guitar button which adds amazing rock out riffs to the song as you jam out, you can even change the sound of the guitar from acoustic to electric.  There is a solo guitar button and a drum sound button as well as a silly sound and applause button so you can give your self a great big cheer when you have finished your song.  The funniest button we were in fits over was the Strum faster button that speed up the song making the lovely lady that sang sound like mini mouse on helium, it was very hard to put this down as it was so much fun.

Sophie really got into the spirit of a rock chick and her imagination was ticking and it wasn't long before she wanted to really play the part and dress up to put on a rock show for me.  As she played you could see her concentration on getting her fingers working to play the instrument she even tried a few Jimi Hendrix moves.  i might have the next inspired Nancy Wilson on my hands now.

The Touch magic Rocking Guitar is £19.99 and can be bought from lots of outlets and is a lot of fun that even mum and dad wont mind hearing over and over again and joining in with the songs, and with this fun, creative rocking to learn guitar from Leapfrog we think its a great way to be introduced to the fun of musical instruments.  Move over The Edge there's a new rock chick in town,

To inspire all those little girls out there to put down your dollies and try a guitar, here is the amazing Jennifer Batten with Micheal Jackson doing a Guitar solo
