We got a rather nice parcel today and it put a smile on my face when i opened it as i had been running round trying to clear up Halloween and hadn't had a chance for breakfast or a sit down.
The nice people from Sainsbury's Bank car insurance had sent me a mini hamper and the timing couldn't of been any better as the last spider and rubber bat was put away into a box for another year.
Inside the box was a collection of goodies from the Taste the difference range Belgian dark chocolate coated stem ginger cookies, Hedgerow conserve, Sicilian lemon, ginger and honey tea bags and a cup from the Tu range to enjoy a brew in.
The Sicilian lemon, ginger and honey tea was wonderfully refreshing and the lemons cut through the ginger with a perfect balance making it a warming yet refreshing drink, and the honey just finished off the taste giving me the perfect lift to carry on with my day and drinking something so good and wholesome made me feel great rather than endless cups of coffee.
The Belgian dark coated stem ginger cookies made with all butter were divine, my most favourite chocolate is dark and it matched so perfectly with the warming sticky chunks of stem ginger and crunch of the rich flavour of the biscuit. This is defiantly a cookie I would be proud to lay out if any mum friends came to visit.
Seeing as i had not had any breakfast i couldn't wait to have some hot butter toast smothered in Hedgerow conserve and i have a soft spot for dark berry jam with its rich deep colours, chunky fruit bursting with flavour and sweet sticky finish.
I thought the parcel was so perfectly timed reminding me how great the Taste the difference range is and with Christmas coming and present to be bought i don't think anyone would be upset if they received a hamper full of wonderful goodies such as these.
I loved the Ginger theme, warming and soothing just perfect for the time of year and ginger is such a great spice for Christmas and also a really great collection for any ladies that may be suffering from a touch of morning sickness, treats such as these would banish the dreaded nausea and give you a perk up instantly. Of course if your shopping in Sainsbury's there is a lot of wonderful different flavours and choices on product to choose from just don't forget to use your nectar card at the till point.
