Jubilee flag cakes, Cake stands and Flags

More jubilee fun was happening at home today as we tried out the 2 Tier cake stand and party food flags given to us by Lakeland to try out if your having a party with lots of food you need to show it off with some great party ware, and this cake stand is made of card so you wont need to do any washing up at the end of your party as this can just be wiped clean.

The cake stand and flags are another exclusive from Lakeland so get them while they are hot as it would be a shame to miss out and they only the cake stand cost a mear £6.99 and the flags a snip at £2.99 and you get 20 flags in total.  One thing i liked about the cake stand was that it was reversible so if you buy a few you can have different looks down your table or to suit different parties.

The cake stand was incredible easy to put together and it did come with a 2 part instructions as well and once it was together i thought it just looked great really pretty and patriotic perfect for a Jubilee party.

 Sophie and i decided to make some cakes and we went for a 6oz cake mix which made 12 cakes in total

 We iced these up and all 12 fitted really nicely on the cake stand it was the perfect amount to bake.  The cake stand was also very sturdy and i did not worry about it falling over or collapsing ruining our cakes.  We added the fun colourful flags which are printed on one side which is handy as you can write peoples name on  the other side and use them as plate savers or to label up names of food how very smart.
