Aston Clinton horticultural show

I was at the Aston Clinton horticultural show at the weekend and the weather was hot hot hot !

Blue skies and sunshine all day and i was glad to be able to use my event shelter for the first time and it got a lot of interest from the other stall holders as it looks a lot different to a normal shelters, i loved the dappled light it gave and was nice and bright to show off my products yet kept me cool.
As you can see i have grown to two tables now as i am developing my Christmas gifting range, and the double packs of selected soaps on soap dishes worked well and i have interest in my box sets which held lots of goodies for a nice price a lot cheaper than some of the gift sets in shops.

I sold lots of sampler packs as a lady came and bought many for secret Santa gifts.  My heart boxes dressed with pretty ribbons i though added colour to the table.  My Bubbles soap got to make its first visit onto the soap table as this is now cured and ready for selling and those that smelt it said they felt very soothed by the scent.
There was about 20 stalls some craft, some society based and some from the church like the bric a brac and cake stall, the jam stall next to me did a roaring trade

Inside the clock tower there was the most amazing and carefully displayed flowers fruit and vegetables all for show and waiting to be judged.  If you look at the picture you can see that great care was taken placing even runner beans in the exact distance width apart from each other and the tomatoes arranged artistically for show.  It is a very serious business.

At the end of the day the society auctioned off the flowers and we got these beautiful Dahlia's and Gladiolus

  1. All looks good! Bet soap is a good seller in this hot weather what with all those extra showers people are taking! Love the dahlias, and the gladioli, they are gorgeous!
