Halloween soap slime
We all love a bit of good clean fun and why not extend that into the Halloween holiday with some fun soap slime with lots of scary creepy crawlies for your little darlings to enjoy in the tub and encourage them to wash and get clean. This is a great soapylove recipe and is so easy to do and doesn't take many ingredients you can let your little ones make it.
Moongazer beer soap in stock at Dunsley farm shop
The lovely Dunsley farm shop and tea rooms in Tring which is still a working farm, as you will see from all the ducks, chickens and donkeys you will see as soon as you step out of your car, which is great for the little ones. The farmers wife prides herself in being family friendly run and selling a wide range of home produced preserves and locally sourced gift products, well as fresh produce, vegetables, eggs and meat. It also has a fab little tea room attached to it as well making it a well worth visit, for ladies that lunch and men that love cake, and that is just the some of what it has to offer as there is also a working brewer attached to the farm which is a sure fine way to tempt your man into a bit of shopping.

Beer Soap
One more mix from my soap kitchen this is a big block of beer soap i have made for Tring Brewery which i made from their Moongazer beer and dark and fragrant beer. I also spent a few weeks infusing the olive oil in their very own hops making all of the mix smell amazing.
Also on the same day we were larking around with some melt and pour after Ali made me my own latex robot mold and we made this fun lime fragranced green character plus a starfish embedded bar which was a mish mash of cherry and tangerine fragrances from all the left over scraps of soap.
My Online shop
I am feeling very happy to be able to open my own online shop today Bath Food Online store and although small, it is a start and a good way to keep my hand in on my little business while pregnant, as i have no plans to be lugging heavy boxes of soap around the county. Sales are to the UK only as i am just beginning and i hope to bring out new lines as and when i have any energy from the bump. I even have a special offer to my first 20 purchases, check out my facebook page to find out more. Bath Food facebook page

Venturing slowly into retail
Well im starting to slowly venture out into retail and i am so happy to have met a wonder lady from the Waddesdon Deli company Wesscot i was really taken with her kindness as she let me stock my items foc as she explain she knew how hard it was for small business to get going and she did me a lovely display in her tea room and loved my cupcake soaps, she even placed once on her main counter to trick her regular customers into thinking it was real, What a Hoot!

Renaissance Christmas fair
The weekend passed and i was at the Renaissance Christmas fair, which is a charity day care centre for adults over the age of 18 with mental health diagnosis, the fair was helping to raise funds for the centre. It was a good day trade was a bit slow i think this was down to the weather and perhaps the location but it was not down to advertising as these guys did a great job at putting the word out, how cool i made second billing! It was was lovely to see familiar faces holding stalls and coming to visit.

Dessert anyone?
Feeling pleased as punch with my new creation curing on the racks, Cookies and cream soap. This has chocolate chip cookie dough base piled with whipped cream and topped with chocolate cookie and a touch of fairy glitter for some sparkle. Looks good enough to eat but i wouldn't recommend it. I really need a particular mould as any soapers out there will notice im suffering from a bit of spread, but for my first attempt with a mould i knew would do this it isn't to bad so ill have to save some pennies and get a better mould.
