How does your garden grow February week 2

Out and about on a great walk and we saw some amazing tall trees, There was also this strange looking tree i am wondering if these lumps are some sort of parasite or if it is meant to be this way.

In a dark patch of the wooded area we found these white barked trees which caught the sun light and beamed light and gave great contrast to the dark nook.

there might not be lots blooming at the moment but there is still beauty out there if you look close enough We  saw some wonderful different types of lichen

  1. Ah lichen! It's taken over from succulents as my new outdoor weakness. The bottom one looks so fluffy I could stroke it. The white barked trees almost looks like some fancy lit up woodland art! I have no idea what makes trees turn like that but like you wonder if it's some sort of parasite? Very peculiar indeed. I hope you enjoyed your walk, the rain here's meant that I've not been out with my camera as much as I'd like of late. A jolly poor show indeed.

Thank you for joining in and sharing these again - have a lovely week! x
