3D Christmas tree mould

This weekend we had some Christmasy fun in the kitchen as we made a wickedly good 3D chocolate Christmas tree using the 3D Christmas tree mould from the Lakeland it retails at a snip of £4.99.

This was easy to use as all we did was melt 150g of chocolate and pour it into the mould, however the difficult bit was having patients waiting for the chocolate to set.   Once set the chocolate came away from the mould very easily and we slotted the tree together then we got sprinkletastic to decorate the tree in glitter, multi coloured beans and snowflakes.  We made the little boy and girl and small tree as extra from a different mould.

The mould is made from silicon one of my favourite bakeware types as it can be used in the freezer as well as baking cookies in, it is also dishwasher safe and microwaveable.
If you want the chance to win one of these fun festive moulds of your own and are UK based then enter the competition below and tell me how you would decorate your tree.  Competition closes this Thursday !!!
