Baker ross Spring

We love nature treasure as you know and we have these wonderful lotus heads from Baker Ross, and think they look pre historic so we couldn't wait to make a dinosaur landscape for all our dinosaurs to roam around on.

after school fun with decoupage farm animals we are going to take the rest up to our youth club and see what the children there can do too.

May day fun and we made these lovely bracelets and added our own bells and beads
we also got to paint some lovely natural bamboo leaves with these fab florescent powder paints which we are now a firm convert on

Wild mountain

We have been working our way around our apple tree with our Fairy garden if any of you remember it from a few weeks back well the dolls now have their own house and the plants have grown really well. wanting to do something different round the rest of the tree we decided to make a wild mountain for all of the wild animals to live and planted up more lovely small flowers for them to live among, the above picture is just one side as the mountain goes around 2 sides of the tree.

We have gathered all our nature treasures from our walks and placed this around the tree and put some on a wicker heart and placed this on the tree as well as hanging lots of lovely pine cones around to blow in the wind.
We have decorated the mountain with windmills and small solar lights and fluffy butterflies
That Zebra had better watch out as it looks like the cheater is hunting it on the fourth side of the apple tree we have made a big blue sea which is basically a blue baby bath and have filled it with water so Sophie can help her self with the watering can and water her flowers of play in the water.

Little Garden

We have some big or should i say small ideas with another project for the garden, first off we bought a selection of water leeks and alpines and spent the afternoon splitting them to make babies and more plants.

We have an old apple tree that has lots of holes in it and we also collected a lot of strange shaped logs when we have chopped trees back in the garden or found on our walks and piled these round the trees, we hope maybe a mini beast or two might visit.   Between the cracks we have put these lovely blue flower i cant remember the name something like bluebell grapes and placed strange mossy sticks big stones and shells, pine cones etc.

We stuffed some of the smaller holes with some amazing long strokable moss we found out and about on our walks and we hope its takes,  We also planted a tumberling tom in one of the bigger holes and we know this will fill up the space and blossom with lots of tiny flowers later in the season.

using my trusty iron fire place we planted it up for a little garden and using a mini green house base made another garden with a path a mossy lawn with pine cone bushes and miniature plants.  As you can see the girls settled into the garden well and soaked up some rays.  After the success of Christmas and little door adventures we have decided to call this little garden.
