Toca Boca House

Here is another video blog about the Toca boca house Ap, this is Sophie's latest ap and its all good clean fun.  As its mothers day tomorrow Sophie promised to clean the whole house, i was very impressed, maybe i should of asked which house.  Again another great little Ap from those smart Toca Boca people.

Toca Boca Robots

Toca Boca Robots are great fun with first deciding and building your very own robot then going out into Toca world where your robot can fly to hunt and search for 3 stars before finding a big magnet to stick to your head and get whisked off  Whoo that does sound odd but a lot of fun.

Toca Boca Shopping

What a fab little ap this by Toca Boca for the I pad and is and a way to a girls heart SHOPPING, talk about starting them young this is great to play as a single but better as a twosome. First set up your shop by choosing what products you want to sell from the big catalogue.  When the shop is ready one person can be the shop keeper and one person the shopper.  This is great game for choosing and even better thinking about counting when you come to pay, it is entertaining, fun bright and really rather cute.

Pea pods Little explorers

Here is another great ap Sophie loves, as she learns about animals by the letters of the alphabet and gets to see how they look, move and the sound they make as there is a link up to you tube, you get to see video footage of the animal.  We think this is brilliant and Sophie sure does know a lot of animals now as well as all the sounds she loves to make around the house.

Duck Duck Moose Word wagon Ap

Sophie loves her spelling Ap word wagon by duck duck moose even though she doesn't know her ABC yet although she can do her ABC's up to D so far and she is only just learning to talk at 21 months.  She really enjoys forming the letters into the words and learning the sounds and practising saying the word which help her development in speaking.  She usually like to do the reward which is forming stars into a animal shape constellations but when we filmed this she only wanted to do lots and lots and lots of spelling which is great as practice help her to remember the order of letters into words, and practice makes perfect.

Since 18 months she has really enjoyed spelling simple 3 letter words and then at 2 years she can now spell up to 5 letter words with no visible prompts her record so far is 21 words in a row, what a fantastic ap.

Nightgarden App

Sophie's Nightgarden ap is fun and easy to play with and she loves the characters there are 3 activities to do dancing, finding and washing faces, what fun. The creators are really good and since getting the ap they have added new content with more activity to alway keep little ones occupied.

Duck Duck Moose Itsy bitsy spider

Part of the Duck duck moose range of aps Itsy bitsy spider is another fun and exploring ap. Here's Sophie helping Itsy bitsy have an adventure to collect eggs and get them to Itsy's spider web, there are lots of things to touch that make noises and even a counting squirrel and a pigeon with a hat fetish.  This is a fun ap that keep her occupied for ages.

Duck Duck Moose Baa Baa Ap

As said in the technology post Sophie loves her I pad and has a few favourite aps here is Sophie and her Baa baa Ap part of the Duck Duck Moose range.  This is a great little app where Sophie escort sheep across a river and hunts for items to match the shapes at the base of the screen, you can even have an underwater search too and meet the master, dame and little boy who lives down the lane. Get coordinating Ap that helps put items into shaped holes and learn their names. Good fun
