Nesting feelings

Week 24 is looming and there are 15 weeks to go and the nesting bug is starting to hit me maybe because finally after 22 weeks the sickness has finally left me, thank goodness, or that baby is moving and kicking about like there is a party in my tummy.  It really helps that i have an excited little lady that is eager to help in anyway she can get ready for the new addition to the family.

I have always been a bit of a forward planner in organising as to me its a weight off my mind and job satisfaction in a job done and gives me thinking and tweaking space to make sure things are just right, i am also pleased that i hoarded ALL of Sophie's baby things, and that we were frugal and bought lots of items from the boot fair plus the generosity of Grannies buying good quality items that last as well.

Sophie was given the very important role of sorting, cleaning and storing all the baby toys in new tubs separate from her own toys, but of course that didn't stop her from playing with them for a few days making sure they all worked properly and had new batteries.

She was such a good girl she even helped load up the washing machine with a mountain of tiny baby clothes that I'm still after 3 days going through and washing, drying and sorting out by age from new born to 3 years and boxing up ready for the new expectant.
