Paper firework crafting and daddies real fireworks

Ali loves fireworks night, he is terrible like a 6 year old on Christmas day.  It doesn't help that there is a rather good firework shop that comes to town for a short period only and he has really amazing fireworks for a fraction of the cost of any supermarket.  As soon as the shop appears there are a queue of dads out the door eagerly waiting to get their hands on the biggest and best fireworks, and when they are gone they are gone.  So Ali makes sure he is there on the first day of opening along with many other keen pyromaniac men, this means that we now have fireworks in the house for 2 weeks and i have Ali begging me to let some off and me saying no wait till the special day giving him loads of anticipation and excitement, he even counts the days down bless him.

Sophie and i were getting in the mood ready with Sophie running around the house making pretend firework noises, so we decide to rummage through the craft cupboard and pull out some bits and have a go at making a firework to go with her sound effect.

With loads of glittery card, shiny paper and twinkle stars we got cutting and glueing.  Sophie got stuck in literally with her fingers in the glue pot to cover some wiggly wires with the twinkle stars, while mummy had the job of cutting the card with the sharp scissors, so Sophie could assemble.
When it was all stuck together madam proceeded to continue to run about the house making firework noises and waggling her paper firework in the air.  Excuse her lack of clothes apparently making fireworks its hot work and the more she got into it the more items were removed.
