Maori, butterfly and rose face painting
Half term and Sophie wants the paints out i don't mind as i get to practice practice practice. I got a bit bored of the pretty and wanted to try something different which meant Sophie had to practice herself at being less wriggly, while i did this Maori face painting. Later we went out and she got a lot of looks and comments about it being different and good, by the time we got home it was a bit smudged so she asked for a new face paint so i wanted to try doing roses as they can be tricky and of course we needed a butterfly for her other cheek.

Flower facepainting
Rain rain go away pretty flowers come to stay.
Looks like the nurturing skills of owning a rabbit are paying off
Peacock facepainting
Sophie got a new outfit with a big peacock and new tutu so we had break open the face paint and have a go at some feathers, however i'm not so happy with these designs i think i will have to go away and have a mull on what to do. We did 2 designs one with hearts and swirls is an utter mess and looks like my face paint vomited on the side of her face i was trying to pick up on her t-shirt with the hearts and i'm really unhappy with the eye area. The peacock feather could be a lot better so i need more practice as well as having a less wriggly child.
Spring Blossom face painting
So happy the sun is out as it is making all the blossom bloom, Sophie wanted her face painted to match the day.

Touch magic Rockin Guitar Leap Frog Review
We are rocking out in our house with this fun Touch magic Rockin Guitar from Leap Frog suitable for 3 years plus. Sophie couldn't wait to get this out of its box and start playing with it. This bright red light weight guitar with strap is just the ticket to add some music creativity and fun to an eager little mind wanting to explore her musicality.

Face painting
Sophie has been well and truly hooked into face painting after our visit to a skilled lady at an event we went to recently. The lady had an art degree and it totally shows by the lovely butterfly she painted on Sophie face.
